Melia azedarach - 1 part Coarse powders of the above herbs were taken in the said proportions and mixed thoroughly. The provided composition were subjected to prepare aqueous extraction, and the extract were then lyophihzed. The extract was further subjected to analysis by GC-MS and checked for their neuraminidase inhibition ability. The study was done to assess the neuraminidase inhibition potential of a new Siddha formulation against the inactivated influenza virus H1N1 and has been documented. For this analysis, inactivated influenza virus was used and the assay was performed with the help of NA- Fluor„ Influenza Neuraminidase Assay Kit (PN 4457091) JACOM formulation showed very good inhibitory activity. It showed a maximum neuraminidase inhibition of 88.49%.
