PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath water heater capable of setting a temperature of hot water supplied to a bath tub in compliance with physical condition of a bath taking person before taking bath.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a water heater 2 for supplying hot water to a bath tub 1 an operation segment 4 to which a request for supplying hot water to the water heater 2 is inputted first and second measuring segments 43, 44 for measuring heart beat or body temperature and a control device 5 for measuring heart beat or body temperature of a bath taking person and determining a hot water temperature for the bath tub 1 on the basis of the result of measurement.
