The invention concerns a polymeric material with high mechanical and thermal performance which is at the same time biodegradable and comprising 50 to 79% of polyamide 6 with the addition of caprolactam in a percentage between 5 and 20%, below also called monomerised polyamide 20 to 49% of copolyamide 6/66 0.5 to 20% of biodegradability promoting additive 0 to 10% dye. Said polymeric material is advantageously used in a line 2 for trimmer 1.La présente invention concerne un matériau polymère qui présente une résistance mécanique et thermique élevée et qui est en même temps biodégradable et renferme de 50 à 79% de polyamide auquel est ajouté du caprolactame suivant un pourcentage compris entre 5 et 20% également appelé polyamide monomérisé, de 20 à 49% de copolyamide 6/66, de 0,5 à 20% dun additif favorisant la biodégradabilité et de 0 à 10% de colorant. Le matériau polymère selon la présente invention est avantageusement utilisé dans un fil 2 pour un dispositif de coupe 1 tel quun coupe-gazon.
