PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment formulation containing a cyanidin-based pigment, a chalcone-based pigment or an iridoid-based pigment, and proantocyanidin. SOLUTION: The pigment formulation is characterized in that it contains one of a cyanidin-based pigment, a chalcone-based pigment and an iridoid-based pigment, and also proantocyanidin, and has a weight ratis of the above concerned pigment to proantocyanidin of 100:0.1-9. Foods and drinks and also cosmetics are colored with the above pigment formulation.
