<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screening calorie restriction (CR) mimetics. <；P>；SOLUTION: There is provided the method for screening including steps of: carrying out a reporter assay using a reporter vector containing a consensus sequence found on the upstream side of a gene in which expression is activated by the CR, a promoter, and a reporter gene； comparing the expression level of the reporter gene in the presence of a test substance with that in the absence of the test substance； and selecting the test substance raising the expression level of the reporter gene as the CR mimetics. <；P>；COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
