PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flavonoid derivative showing the activation action of skin stem cells.SOLUTION: There is provided a flavonoid derivative being an amphiphatic low molecule compound composed of one molecule of flavonoid, one molecule of gallic acid and one molecule of guanine. In its production method, it is produced in the production method made of a process where a fermentation liquid obtained by adding the new sprout and sput such as the flower of edelweiss and the leaf and stalk of psilotum nudum and soybean powder with natto bacteria made of natto hompo and fermentating the same is fernentated with beni koujo bacteria. The obtained flavonoid derivative shows the excellent activation action of skin stem cells, and is suitable for the improvement of a cell function.
