PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a slit profile of a CT imaging system and a CT collimator.SOLUTION: The profile of two longitudinal opposite edges of a slit of a collimator is measured on the basis of a vertical distance between a focal point of a radiation source and the slit, a vertical distance between the focal point and a radiation detector, an angle of inclination between adjacent detector elements, a length of each detector element, a desirable width of projection on the radiation detector by a radiation ray passing through the slit, and an offset angle of an interconnect line from a point on the longitudinal center line of the slit to the focal point to a plane passing the focal point and vertical to the slit.
