PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse effect on a plant caused by propagation of germs in a nutrient water tank in an attempt to heat a nutrient water itself to circulate the heated water to meet the request of increasing the speed of growth of the plant by heating the roots of the plant and the periphery.SOLUTION: The plant growing device is structured as a hollow container with a space demarcated inside for a heat medium to flow. The plant growing device includes: a recess-shaped part whose top is open； an inlet formed within a wall which forms the recess-shaped part for introducing the heat medium into the space from outside； and an outlet communicating with the other end for discharging the heat medium. The plant growing device further includes a heat medium circulating mechanism for circulating and feeding the heating medium into the space. The recess-shaped part is configured to accommodate individual plant growing pots on the inner bottom and to serve as a nutrient water pool for growing plants. In addition, the recess-shaped part is configured as a space which can accommodate the soil for growing plants.【課題】 植物の生育速度を速めたいというニーズに応えるため、根とその周辺を暖めることが考えられる、これに対処するために栄養水そのものを暖めて循環させようとすると、栄養水のタンクに雑菌が繁殖し植物に悪影響を及ぼす。【解決手段】 植物育成装置として内部に熱媒体が流通する空間が区画形成された中空容器により構成し、上面が開口した凹状部とこの凹状部を形成する壁部内に形成された前記空間に外部から前記熱媒体が導入される入口及び他端に連通し前記熱媒体を導出する出口とを備えているようにした。加えて、熱媒体を前記空間に循環供給する熱媒体循環機構を備えているようにした。また、前記凹状部は、内底面が個別の植物育成ポットを収容可能とし、植物育成用の栄養水プールとして構成されるようにした。さらに、前記凹状部は、植物育成用の土壌を収容可能とする空間とに構成されているようにした。【選択図】図１
