An electrical wheelchair and a controlling method thereof are disclosed. The electrical wheelchair has a foldable chair. Two motor, a braking apparatus, at least one power supply unit, at least one controller and a switch are installed inside of the chair. Due to the foldable chair, any kind of transportation tool which is used is able to transport the electrical wheelchair so that the electrical wheelchair has an advantage on the transportation. The installation of the motor is able to provide a user or a helper to overcome the limitation of the route or the physical ability of the user or the helper to reduce the physical ability of the user or the helper consuming.
