PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED To provide an absorbent article to reduce stuffiness and prevent a body fluid from leaking down, provided with a front surface sheet soft to skin having a decreased area in contact with the skin. SOLUTION An absorbent article 1 with an absorber 4 disposed between a permeable front surface sheet 3 and a rear surface sheet 2 of a non-woven fabric； wherein the front surface sheet 3 is provided with ridged convex portions 7, 7 continuing in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 at a specified interval in the width direction of the absorbent article 1, and provided with dot-like concave embossments 8a, 8b at the right side adjacent position and the left side adjacent position alternately at an interval in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article 1 on the both sides of each of the convex portions 7, 7, and the concave embossments 8a, 8b are arranged in a zigzag pattern as a whole. The convex portion 7 is an inclined surface having a relatively steep gradient on one side and a relatively gentle gradient on the other side, and the cross-sectional shape of the convex portion 7 is an asymmetrical shape.[과제] 습기 참을 저감할 수 있으며 체액의 타고 흐르는 누출을 방지함과 동시에, 피부와의 접촉 면적을 저감하고 또한 피부로의 촉감이 부드러운 표면 시트를 구비한 흡수성 물품에 관한다.[해결수단] 부직포로 이루어지는 투액성 표면 시트(3)와, 이면 시트(2)와의 사이에 흡수체(4)가 개재된 흡수성 물품(1)에 있어서, 상기 표면 시트(3)는 흡수성 물품(1)의 폭 방향에 소정 간격을 비워서, 흡수성 물품(1)의 길이방향으로 연속하는 이랑 모양의 볼록부(7, 7…)를 가지며, 상기 각 볼록부(7, 7…)의 양측에 흡수성 물품(1)의 길이방향으로 간격을 비워서 우측 인접 위치와 좌측 인접 위치에 교호로 점 모양의 오목 엠보스(8a…, 8b)가 부여되며, 상기 오목 엠보스(8a…, 8b…)는 전체적으로 새떼 모양으로 배치되어 있다. 상기 볼록부(7)는 일방 측의 경사면이 상대적으로 급한 구배의 경사면으로 되며, 타방 측의 경사면이 상대적으로 완만 구배의 경사면으로 되며, 상기 볼록부(7)의 횡단면 형상이 좌우 비대칭 형상을 이루고 있다.
