PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire excellent in operability.SOLUTION: A guide wire 1 comprises: a wire body 10 that consists of a first wire 2 and a second wire 3； an outer member 5 that is provided on an outer peripheral side of the wire body 10； and an inner member 4E that is provided between the wire body 10 and the outer member 5. The second wire 3 has a first taper part 32.
