PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a U-shaped support which is divided into two without reducing the strength of the support as much as possible, and assembled with good workability.SOLUTION: The U-shaped supports which are connected to each other via a lateral joint rod 3. Support parts are integrally connected in series to both lower ends of an arch-shaped part 9. The arch-shaped part 9 is such that the end parts of divided pipes 13 and 13 divided into two at the center are connected with each other via a connector 16. The connector 16 includes a pair of waterproof cap members 20 and 20 in each of which a connecting rod 21 is disposed as a core material. The waterproof cap members 20 and 20 are connected with each other via a band-like holding member 22 so as not to be separable. The outer surface 53 of the lateral joint rod 3 abuts on a supporting recessed surface 62 formed by butting the ends of the waterproof cap members 20 and 20 to each other.
