The present invention relates to an apparatus for coating food with powder. When the apparatus is used, production cost of the food can be reduced by reusing coating powder generated when food is processed； the food can be hygienically manufactured without damaging the coating powder. The apparatus includes: a food transfer part to which the food to be processed is transferred； a reuse transfer part for reusing the coating powder separated from the food transfer part； and a rotating drum which accommodates the coating powder separated from the reuse transfer part. The rotating drum includes a separating film, which contains the coating powder and discharges the coating powder to the downside by gravity when the coating powder is transferred by rotation to the upside. Therefore, according to the present invention, the coating powder can be applied on the food in both a wet method and a dry method； production cost can be reduced by efficiently reusing the coating power not applied.본 발명은 식품가공 중 발생하는 코팅가루를 재활용하여 원가를 절감하고, 코팅카루를 손상시키지 않으면서 위생적으로 식품을 생산할 수 있도록 하는 식품용 가루코팅장치에 관한 것이다. 이를 위하여, 본 발명은 가공할 식품이 이송되는 식품이송부； 상기 식품이송부에서 분리된 코팅가루를 재사용하기 위한 재활용이송부； 상기 재활용이송부에서 분리된 코팅가루를 수용하는 회전드럼을 포함하며, 상기 회전드럼은 상기 코팅가루를 수용한 후, 회전에 의하여 상부로 이송되면 중력에 의하여 상기 코팅가루를 아래로 배출시키는 격막을 포함하는 식품용 가루코팅장치를 제공한다.따라서, 본 발명에 의하면 습식 및 건식 등 어느 경우에나 식품용 코팅가루의 도포를 실행할 수 있으며, 도포되지 않은 식품용 코팅가루를 효율적으로 재활용하여 생산단가를 낮출 수 있는 이점이 있다.
