PURPOSE: A hair styling composition containing a fiber and a powder dispersing agent is provided to improve physical properties of a setting agent and oil and fat components and to maintain hair style. CONSTITUTION: A hair styling composition contains a fiber and a powder dispersing agent. The fiber includes nylon, polyester, rayon, silk, cotton, or wool. The powder dispersing agent is polyoxyethyelne glyceryltriisostearate. The composition further contains high melting point oil and fat components such as carnauba wax, candellila wax, bee's wax, microcrystalline wax, paraffin wax, polyethylene, shellac wax or sunflower wax. The composition also contains a setting agent such as polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polyvinyl pyrrolidone/vinyl acetate copolymer, vinyl pyrrolidone/methacrylamide/vinylimidazole copolymer, polyvinyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol, polyquaternium, methacryloylethyl betaine/methacrylate copolymer, acrylate/octyl acrylamide copolymer, acrylate/t-butylacrylamide copolymer, or octylacrylamide/acrylate/butyladminoethyl metharcrylate. The composition contains water or ethanol.본 발명은 정발제 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 정발제 조성물에 통상적으로 사용되는 세팅제 또는 고융점의 유지 성분 이외에, 섬유와 상기 섬유를 정발제 조성물 내에 고르게 분산하도록 해주는 파우더 분산제를 함께 첨가하여 상기 세팅제와 유지 성분의 물성을 개선시켜줌으로써 헤어 스타일의 지속성을 현저하게 향상시킨 정발제 조성물에 관한 것이다.
