PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical bed in which a slide mechanism does not interfere with other members in a slide operation of a table, and the table can be operated with a large slide width.SOLUTION: A surgical bed S equipped with a table 10 that can be moved in a horizontal direction with respect to a base 2 includes a slide mechanism 20 that moves the table 10 in a horizontal direction. The slide mechanism 20 includes a rack 21a that extends in a longitudinal direction of the table 10, a drive gear 26 that is meshed with the rack 21a and integrally rotates, a passive gear 27, an idler gear 28, and an actuator 23 that supplies rotational drive power to at least one of the gears 26-28.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
