PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant culture apparatus with which a high production efficiency can be obtained. SOLUTION: The plant culture apparatus 20 for culturing plant includes a frame 21, at least one light-emitting diode 22, at least two movable plates 23 and 24, and a lifting unit 25. The movable plates 23 and 24 are installed in the frame 21, and the light-emitting diode 22 is located above plants 30. The lifting unit 25 is connected with the movable plates 23 and 24, so that a designated distance is maintained between the upper end of the plants 30 and the movable plate 23 as the movable plates 23 and 24 are moved by the lifting unit 25.
