The present invention provides an Intra-Aneurysmal Guard for treatment of intracranial aneurysms. The device can be compressed like a stent to be placed into the delivery sheath. Then from the sheath the device can be pushed into the microcatheter by the attached pusher wire. The pusher wire is soldered to the central connecting point of the device which can be detached electrolytically. The device has 4 alternate microfilaments as markers which anchors to the aneurysm wall and another marker is at the central point which will determine the flat component across the neck of the aneurysm.
