According to the invention, it is proposed the use of undifferentiated or dedifferentiated plant cells of Leontopodium alpinium obtained by cell culture in vitro, for a non-therapeutic cosmetic treatment to restore the homeostasis of the cells of the aged skin and to increase their metabolic activity and energy. Thanks to this treatment one obtains a restorative and smoothing effect on an already aged skin, notably pronounced on the drooping surface of the neck. Selon l'invention, il est proposé l'utilisation de cellules végétales indifférenciées ou dédifférenciées de Leontopodium alpinium obtenues par culture cellulaire in vitro, pour un traitement cosmétique non thérapeutique pour restaurer l'homéostasie des cellules de la peau âgée et accroître leur activité métabolique et énergétique. Grâce à ce traitement on obtient un effet réparateur tenseur et lisseur sur une peau déjà âgée, notamment prononcé sur la surface tombante du cou.
