The invention relates to a growth device (1) for crop, provided with at least a casing (2) and a core part (3), wherein the casing (2) is substantially manufactured from fluid impermeable material and surrounds the at least one core part at least partly, wherein the core part (3) comprises a growth medium or is formed therefrom.
