PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel giving method of rice for feed to livestock, and feed for which rice is used in which the cost reduction and the stability securing of a feed raw material are achieved, that excel in distribution and preservability, in which feeding by livestock is excellent, in which a milk quality can be equal with the case in which feed making maize a main raw material is given, in addition, in which fleshy substance improvement can be expected.SOLUTION: In a method to give cereal to livestock with other materials, a rice 2 for feed is used as the cereal, the rice 2 for feed and other materials are performed with mixing and steaming, further formed in a pellet shape, and fed to livestock.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】 飼料原料の原価低減と安定確保を実現するとともに、流通性、保存性に優れ、家畜による採食性が良好であり、とうもろこしを主原料とした飼料を給与した場合と同等の乳質とすることができ、更に肉質改善の可能性を期待することのできる、新規な飼料用米の家畜への給与方法並びに飼料用米が用いられた飼料の開発を技術課題とした【解決手段】 穀類を他の素材とともに家畜に給与する方法において、前記穀類として飼料用米2を用い、この飼料用米2と他の素材とを混合するとともに蒸煮し、更にペレット状に成型した状態で家畜に採食させることを特徴として成るものである。【選択図】図1
