PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is resistant to the filtration for a liquid into a wing-forming material to leak out.SOLUTION: In the absorbent article, a side sheet 2b is arranged at the position of a side along the longitudinal direction of a surface sheet 2a to prolong itself to the substantially full length of a body 5, and extends from the side edge along the longitudinal direction of the surface sheet 2a toward the cross direction. Likewise, a wing-used liquid-impermeable film 9 is arranged at the position of a side along the longitudinal direction in a body-used liquid-impermeable film 3 to extend from the side edge 33 along the longitudinal direction of the film 3 toward the cross direction. The wing-used liquid-impermeable film 9 is fixed to sandwich itself between the body-used liquid-impermeable film 3 and the side sheet 2b.
