<;P>;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a &beta;-1, 3-glucan-based ternary complex which can be used for prevention and treatment of Th2 cell-mediated diseases by adjusting the balance between Th1- and Th2 cells in an immune system, which ternary complex promoting a reaction between a formyl group in the &beta;-1, 3-glucan and an amino group in the antigenic protein to enhance the reactivity by &ge;30 times than ever before, thereby dramatically improving yield. <;P>;SOLUTION: The method for producing an antigenic protein/CpG oligonucleotide/&beta;-1, 3-glucan-based ternary complex includes reaction steps of (a) reacting &beta;-1, 3-glucan having a formyl group in its side chain with the antigenic protein in an aqueous alkaline solution at the same time of neutralization, or (b) reacting &beta;-1, 3-glucan having a formyl group in its side chain with the antigenic protein in an aqueous alkaline solution followed by neutralization. <;P>;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
