PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide propolis extract having an excellent appearance properties, and a production method thereof, a capsule, as well as an antioxidant.SOLUTION: Propolis extract of the invention contains extract obtained by using as extract raw materials raw propolis or residues after extracting from the raw propolis with water or hydrophilic organic solvents, and only using as extracting solvents at least one kind of oil components selected from perilla oil, wheat germ oil, Oenothera tetraptera oil, and grape oil.
