The present invention discloses a medicament for treating gout and its method of preparation. The medicament for treating gout comprises, in parts by weight, 5 to 15 parts of Polygonatum, 10 to 15 parts of Pueraria Lobata, 13 to 20 parts of Perilla nankinensis, 12 to 28 parts of Angelica sinensis and 5 to 12 parts of Herba Pyrolae. The medicament for treating gout according to the present invention has different ingredients compared to the drugs in the prior art, and can overcome the defects of the drugs in the prior art.
