PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray image diagnostic apparatus and an X-ray diaphragm position correction method capable of correcting the position of an X-ray diaphragm on an X-ray image accurately.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus 1 calculates a position of an X-ray diaphragm on an X-ray image from a position of a diaphragm vane measured by a device condition measurement device 14, displays the calculated position of the X-ray diaphragm on the X-ray image, and receives position adjustment therefor. When the position of the X-ray diaphragm is adjusted, an adjustment amount is stored in a correction data storage section 43 as correction data.
