Disclosed is a cultivator (1) comprising a tool carrying structure (2) arranged to suspend one or more ground tools (3) each comprising a tyne (4) and a ground engaging blade (5). The tyne (4) is arranged to extend between the ground engaging blade (5) and the tool carrying structure (2). The ground engaging blade (5) is arranged to engage the ground (6) during normal use of the cultivator (1). Furthermore, one or more ground tools (3) are connected to the tool carrying structure (2) by means of a suspension arrangement (7), wherein said suspension arrangement (7) comprises a wedge (8) arranged in a guide (9). One of the wedge (8) and the guide (9) is rigidly connected to the tool carrying structure (2) and the other one of the wedge (8) and the guide (9) is rigidly connected to the one or more ground tools (3). The wedge (8) is arranged so that it is forced into engagement with a guide (9) when the ground tools (3) are pulled through the ground (6) during normal use of the cultivator (1).
