PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve inspection efficiency and to reduce burdens on a patient by always accurately positioning a subject for a magnetic field without depending on skill.SOLUTION: A medical imaging apparatus or a positioning support device to be used together with the medical imaging apparatus includes a storage means for storing information indicating an imaging region of an imaging unit, a drawing data generation means, and a projection means. The drawing data generation means generates drawing data indicating at least an outline of the imaging region, on the basis of the information indicating the imaging region and stored in the storage means.
