PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cuff and a tracheal tube having an improved performance for foreign substance suction.SOLUTION: A cuff includes a deflatable/inflatable trunk portion. In an inflated state, the trunk portion is rotationally symmetric with respect to a prescribed axis. The trunk portion has a tapered part, the diameter of which increases about the prescribed axis from one end side towards the other end side of the prescribed axis. An angle formed between the prescribed axis and the tapered part from 10° to 12°or less.
