PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head-feeding type combine capable of preventing ear tips of reaped grain culms being conveyed by a conveying unit from coming into contact with an exhaust emission control device.SOLUTION: A head-feeding type combine includes: a conveying unit provided over a reaping unit and a thresher for conveying reaped grain culms from the reaping unit to the thresher； an operation unit 4 provided horizontally adjacent to the conveying unit having an operation seat 16 and a side panel 18 provided in a right and left direction of a machine body with respect to the operation seat 16 on one side which is a side where the conveying unit is located； an engine E provided below the operation unit 4； an exhaust emission control device 32 provided below the side panel 18 for purifying exhaust air of the engine E； and a cover 70 for covering the exhaust emission control device 32 from a front side and from one side.
