PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harvesting machine having a driving seat arranged above an engine hood which is configured such that an exhaust emission control device is provided above a diesel engine within the engine hood while avoiding the overlap of the exhaust emission control device with the driving seat in the vertical direction of the machine body without enlargement of an operation portion.SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device 50 configured to introduce exhaust gas of the diesel engine 21 and perform purification treatment of the exhaust gas is provided within the engine hood 22 in a layout such that the whole body of the exhaust emission control device 50 is biased toward a harvesting portion relative to the driving seat 12, and a part of the exhaust emission control device 50 in a horizontal direction of the machine body is protruded toward the harvesting portion side from a harvesting portion-side lateral wall 11c of the operation portion.
