PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robot capable of easily reducing a burden of a caregiver such as a nursing-care helper, particularly, a burden when transferring.SOLUTION: A robot R includes: a base part 100 capable of traveling a lifting/lowering shaft 1 disposed on the base part 100 a pivot 2 disposed on the lifting/lowering shaft 1 a first telescopic shaft 3 and a second telescopic shaft 4 axisymmetrically disposed with respect to the pivot 2 a first rod-like arm 5 disposed on the first telescopic shaft 3 and a second rod-like arm 6 disposed on the second telescopic shaft 4. The robot inserts the first arm 5 and the second arm 6 into cylindrical holding object parts 31 of a dedicated sheet 30 and lifts the dedicated sheet 30 on which a person in need of care is laid.
