PURPOSE: An itopride sustained release tablet and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to enhance drug compliance.CONSTITUTION: A sustained release tablet of itopride or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof contains 30-70% of itopride or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient and 20-40 wt% of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose as a hydrophilic polymer. The salt is hydrochloride.
