PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the conventional boiling water softening type mouthpiece is applied as the impression of the occlusal surfaces of vertical teeth, makes a fixed occluding relation, cannot give movement (before and behind, right and left) having a free nature to mandibular movement, cannot perform a quantitative bite up, and is therefore unsuitable to a therapeutic purpose called posture reform and the adjustment of a back curve.SOLUTION: The quantitative bite up is enabled by preparing a stabilizer blade (a scatterable seal), which is not softened by boiling water, in the lower part of the occlusal surface of the boiling water softening type mouthpiece, and being employed for a purpose called posture reform and the adjustment of the back curve by giving movement (before and behind, right and left) having a measure of free nature to the mandibular movement.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の熱湯軟化式マウスピースは、上下歯牙の咬合面の圧痕として印記され、固定した咬合関係を作り、下顎運動に自由性を持った動き(前後・左右)を与えることができず、定量的なバイトアップが出来ない為、姿勢矯正・背筋カーブの調整といった治療目的に不適当であった。【解決手段】熱湯軟化式マウスピース咬合面下部に熱湯で軟化されないスタビライザーブレード(可撤性シール)を設けることにより、定量的なバイトアップを可能とし、下顎運動にある程度の自由性を持った動き(前後・左右)を与える事で姿勢矯正・背筋カーブの調整といった目的に使用できるようにした。【選択図】図3
