The present invention relates to a bed in which a support panel with a mattress arranged thereon consists of a set of multiple divided parts, and which is freely foldable and unfoldable in vertical and horizontal directions. More particularly, the present invention relates to a novel free folding bed in which the parts of the support panel for the back and thighs of a user can be folded in a vertical direction after being folded in a horizontal direction. Thus, the free folding bed of the present invention may be freely folded or unfolded in vertical and horizontal directions according to need, thus enabling the user or a caregiver to use the bed after changing the position of the bed as desired so as to achieve significantly improved convenience.
