PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of having a dry texture by making menstrual blood hard to remain on a top sheet while preventing constituents of an absorber from leaking out of the absorber to eliminate a sticky feeling.SOLUTION: This absorbent article includes the absorber 4 having through-holes 10 penetrating between the face on the skin side and the face on the clothes side. The top sheet 2 covers the inside of each through-hole 10 of the absorber 4, and the top sheet 2 covering the inside of each the through-hole 10 is coated with a blood modifier 8.
