The collector comprises a collector fork (10) with a plurality of teeth (11) and the device is configured to move the fork between a lowered position and a raised position. The device is, when the fork is arranged in its lowered position, configured to collect the eggs with its teeth, and, when the fork is arranged in its raised position, configured to transport the collected eggs from the fork towards the storage.
