PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a following problem: a conventional ruler has a planar shape, it takes time and labor to continuously measure specified lengths, draw a line or to cut articles, and particularly when jellies or cakes formed in a kitchen vat is cut at equal intervals, it is required to measure sizes beforehand, mark them, and cut them with the ruler according to the marks.SOLUTION: A cross-section of a ruler is formed into a triangular, square or radial solid shape, and the ruler is rolled on an object.
