PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydroponic device which is installed in a shop to attract interest of a customer who is not so eager as to purchase the device and with which the customer can experience hydroponics.SOLUTION: The hydroponic device which hydroponically cultivate plants by supplying nutrient liquid to plants 14 lightened by light source comprises a plurality of box-like cultivating containers 10 in which plants to be cultured are housed and which comprise doors 11 with locks assignable to users, a camera 41 which recognizes a user or a reader 44 which reads an IC card possessed by a user, and a control unit which controls opening/closing of the door of the cultivating container 10. The control unit opens an electric lock 12 of the door of the cultivating container when deciding a recognized user is the one who is assigned the cultivating container. A user can specifically use the cultivating container by making a contract to use the cultivating container and by being assigned the cultivating container.【課題】店舗に設置されて来客者の興味を引かせ、装置を購入するほどではないが水耕栽培を体験できる水耕栽培装置を提供する。【解決手段】光源で照明された植物１４に養液を与えて植物を水耕栽培する。栽培する植物が収納され、利用者に割り当て可能な錠付き扉１１を備えた複数の箱状栽培容器１０と、利用者を認識するカメラ４１あるいは利用者が保有するＩＣカードを読み取る読取装置４４と、栽培容器の扉の開閉を制御する制御部を備える。制御部は、認識された利用者が栽培容器を割り当てられた利用者であると判断した時に、該栽培容器の扉の電気錠１２を開錠する。利用者は栽培容器を使用する契約を結び、栽培容器を割り当ててもらうことにより、その栽培容器を固有に使用できる。【選択図】図１
