Discloses a probiotic fruit juice drink consisting of at least one species of probiotic bacteria chosen from a Lactobacillus species and at least one gas formation reducer chosen from acerola, pomegranate, cranberry, aronia, blackcurrant, buckthorn, sloe, or elderberry or any combination thereof and a primary fruit juice chosen from citrus fruit juice or pip fruit juice and optionally a secondary fruit juice and optionally water. Further discloses specific Lactobacillus species in the composition and other additives to the composition e.g. fruit juices and vitamin C.
