The present invention relates to a gabion capable of enabling inhabitation of a sea cucumber and an octopus and controlling beach erosion and sedimentation by being installed on a beach. The gabion includes: a bottom net (11)； and multiple side nets (15) erected by being connected to an edge of the bottom net (11) and limiting an inner space with the bottom net (11) since adjacent sides are connected. The side net (15) is installed in a direction of being narrower toward the upper part and has an opening unit (16) controlled by the upper part of the multiple side nets (15). A frame (20) is installed in the opening unit (16). The frame (20) includes: a lower frame unit (21) fixed by coming into contact with the bottom net (11)； an upper frame unit (22) fixed to the side net (15) in a periphery of the opening unit (16) controlled by the multiple side nets (15)； and upper and lower connection frame units (23) connecting the lower frame unit (21) and the upper frame unit (22). A first filling stone (31) is filled in the bottom net (11) to a predetermined height. A seed box (50) accommodating sea cucumber seeds inside is fixed onto the first filling stone (31) at the center of the frame (20).
