PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical treatment apparatus capable of reading identification information on various medical treatment instruments and reducing work load on an operator who reads the identification information on the medical treatment instruments.SOLUTION: A medical treatment apparatus 10 includes: at least one handpiece 30 for medical use to which identification information is affixed； an instrument holder for holding the handpiece 30 for medical use so as to take it out freely； and a reader-writer 10a for reading identification information on a medical treatment instrument 4 in a readable range.
