PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical examination apparatus, when a medical surgical instrument is not sterilized, capable of restricting the use thereof, and a medical surgical instrument.SOLUTION: The medical examination apparatus includes a chair unit 70, a handpiece 30 used by being connected to a connection unit 40, and an RW power supply part 61 for contactlessly supplying a power. The handpiece 30 includes: an RFID tag 50 including an RFID storage part 52 that stores sterilization processing information S as information whether or not to perform the sterilization processing at least lately, and a power receiving antenna 51 that receives the power by moving closer to the RW power supply part 61 a sterilization processing determining part 13a that determines execution of a prescribed operation of restricting the use of the handpiece 30 on the basis of the sterilization processing information S and a handpiece-side notification part 35 that is controlled by a handpiece-side notification operation control part 13b and performs a prescribed operation of the handpiece 30 along with a surgical operation control body 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
