It is an object of the present invention to provide a composition for inhibiting carnosine dipeptidase, the use of the composition for inhibiting carnosine dipeptidase, and a method for inhibiting carnosine dipeptidase. Another object of the present invention is to provide a composition that has high biosafety and can enhance the action effect of carnosine by utilizing the carnosine dipeptidase inhibitory action. It has been found that certain compounds such as polyphenol have a carnosine dipeptidase inhibitory action.
