PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preventing thrombosis without increasing hemorrhage.SOLUTION: A method for using a modified annexin protein, preferably annexin V is provided. Annexin binds to phosphatidylserine on the outer surface of cell membranes, thereby preventing binding of the prothrombinase complex necessary for thrombus formation. It does not, however, affect platelet aggregation necessary for hemostasis. The modified annexin molecule can be a homodimer of annexin, an annexin molecule coupled to one or more polyethylene glycol chains, or an annexin molecule coupled to another protein. By increasing the molecular weight of annexin, the modified annexin is made to remain in circulation for sufficient time to provide a sustained therapeutic effect.【課題】出血を増加させることなく、血栓症を防止する方法の提供。【解決手段】修飾アネキシンタンパク質、好ましくはアネキシンＶを用いる方法。アネキシンは、細胞膜外表面上のホスファチジルセリンに結合し、それによって、血栓形成に必要なプロトロンビナーゼ複合体の結合を防止する。しかし、アネキシンは、止血に必要な血小板凝集に影響を及ぼさない。修飾アネキシン分子は、アネキシンのホモ二量体、１以上のポリエチレングリコール鎖にカップリングしたアネキシン分子、または別のタンパク質にカップリングしたアネキシン分子であることも可能である。アネキシンの分子量を増加させることによって、修飾アネキシンを作製して、持続性療法効果を提供するのに十分な時間、循環中に留める。【選択図】なし
