PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extraction and purification method of sericin which inhibits loss of a component derived from sericin and contamination by a component derived from fibroin, and stably and efficiently extracts and purifies sericin from cocoon filament or cocoon shell derived from a silkworm.SOLUTION: An extraction and a purification method comprises the steps of (1) immersing cocoon filament or cocoon shell derived from a silkworm into 0.05-0.07 M of an alkali solution at 90-98°C to obtain a scouring liquid comprising sericin, and (2) dialyzing the scouring liquid to obtain a sericin solution.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】セリシン由来成分の損失やフィブロイン由来成分の混入を抑制し、カイコ由来の繭糸または繭層から安定かつ効率的にセリシンを抽出・精製する方法を提供すること。【解決手段】(1)カイコ由来の繭糸または繭層を、90℃~98℃かつ0.05~0.07Mのアルカリ溶液に浸漬して、セリシンを含む精練液を得る工程、および(2)前記精練液を透析してセリシン溶液を得る工程を含む抽出・精製方法とする。【選択図】図1
