Disclosed is physical training apparatus comprising a base forming a training surface; a first plurality of elastic members for providing training vectors to a trainee training on the training surface. The elastic members are attached to the base and having first tracking members for directing the elastic members from a vector origin location near the training surface to an anchor location. The apparatus includes a second plurality of elastic members for providing training vectors to a trainee training on the training surface. The second elastic members are attached to the base and have second tracking members for directing the elastic members from a vector origin location elevated from the training surface to an anchor location. At least one of the first or second tracking members includes a plurality of pulley mechanisms in direct contact with a respective elastic member. The elevation of at least one of the pulley mechanisms is adjustable along a vertical axis to provide one of the training vectors substantially parallel to the base, from the pulley mechanism to the calf of the trainee.
