PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black garlic confectionery that has black garlic as the main ingredient, especially a black garlic confectionery that has a high nutritional value, excellent taste and various physical properties.SOLUTION: Provided is a black garlic confectionery that has a black garlic covered with a layer of a mixture of roasted rice bran and chocolate. Preferably a black garlic confectionery that has a black garlic covered with a layer of a mixture of 5 to 25% roasted rice bran and 75 to 95% chocolate. The roasted rice bran preferably is produced by contacting fresh rice bran with superheated steam at 250°C to 650°C for 0.3 to 30 seconds, and the roasted rice bran preferably has an average particle size of 150 to 30 μm.
