PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic probe in which plural inorganic piezoelectric elements and plural organic piezoelectric elements are stacked to be formed capable of generating an ultrasonic image of high picture quality.SOLUTION: On a surface of a backing material 1, plural inorganic piezoelectric elements 2 having pitches P1 are arrayed to be formed, on plural inorganic piezoelectric elements 2, an acoustic matching layer 3 is extended over whole of the plural inorganic piezoelectric elements 2, and plural organic piezoelectric elements 4 having pitches P2 are arrayed to be formed on the acoustic matching layer 3.
