Provided is a computerized tomography apparatus including a gantry to rotate along an annular rail. The computerized tomography apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an X-ray source for emitting an X-ray, an X-ray detector for detecting the X-ray, the gantry on which the X-ray source and the X-ray detector are mounted, and the rail with a shape corresponding to an outer surface of the gantry, wherein the gantry rotates along an inner surface of the rail.
