PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of sufficiently reducing noise leaking to outside of a cover through an X-ray transmission port.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus in this embodiment includes an annular rotator, an X-ray tube, an X-ray detector, a cover and a speaker. The annular rotator has an opening at the center into which a bed can be inserted. The X-ray tube is housed inside the annular rotator. The X-ray detector is housed inside the annular rotator and disposed opposite to the X-ray tube with the opening in-between, and has X-ray detection elements aligned along the center axis of the opening. The cover has a tube side part fitted into the opening to cover the annular rotator from the center side of the opening, and an X-ray transmission port with a diameter corresponding to the length of the X-ray detector in the direction of aligning is formed on the tube side part to transmit X rays emitted from the X-ray tube to the X-ray detector. The speaker generates sound to reduce the noise leaking from inside to outside of the cover through the X-ray transmission port.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】X線透過口を通ってカバーの外部に漏れる騒音を十分に低減することが可能なX線CT装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態のX線CT装置は、環状回転体と、X線管と、X線検出器と、カバーと、スピーカーとを有する。環状回転体は中央に寝台を挿入可能な開口部を有する。X線管は環状回転体の内部に収納される。X線検出器は、環状回転体の内部に収納され、開口部を間にしてX線管と対向配置され、開口部の中心軸に沿って列状にX線検出素子が配置されている。カバーは、開口部に嵌め込まれ、開口部の中心側から環状回転体を覆う筒側部を有し、X線管からX線検出器へ照射されるX線を透過するように、X線検出器の列方向の長さに対応する口径を有するX線透過口が筒側部に形成される。スピーカーは、カバーの内部からX線透過口を通ってカバーの外部に漏れる騒音を低減する音を発生する。【選択図】図1
